Job Description for Secondary Counselor/CTE Specialist
To support the vision, mission and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12 and to provide training in the following areas to Region 12 educators to further meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with and provide professional development to assist and support school personnel in understanding Title IV, A program requirements including· well-rounded education opportunities, safe and healthy students, and effective uses of technology
- Provide training and coordination in areas noted above
- Keep Region 12 educators abreast of relative current trends and issues
Education/Certification
- Master's degree, preferred
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Experience in public education in secondary counseling/CTE
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
- Experience in blended learning
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, and team player
