Job Description
To support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of ESC Region 12 by providing and creating innovative professional development, instructional coaching, and technical assistance to teachers in Grades K-8 ELAR (English Language Arts & Reading) within ESC Region 12; by creating and leading strategic and modern initiatives within ESC Region 12.
- Provide and create innovative professional development, instructional coaching, and technical assistance in the area of ELAR for GRADESK-8
- Provide and create innovative professional development, instructional coaching, and technical assistance in ELAR for teachers in GRADESK-8
- Provide professional development and technical assistance for the TEKS Resource System.
- Create and support strategic and modern initiatives within Region 12 and across the region.
- Support additional department grants, district grants, and TEA initiatives
- Coordinate with department colleagues to provide instructional strategies for the spectrum of learners found in classrooms
- Participate in ESC Region 12 and/or other professional development opportunities
Education/Certification
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification
- Experience with and knowledge of personalized learning and digital innovation
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of curriculum requirements – ELAR
- Knowledge of ELAR and appropriate programs
- Evidence of professional interests and growth in areas of ELAR
- Ability to create and present innovative training for adult learners
- Ability to integrate technology into presentations and curriculum
- Knowledge of and experience with Google applications
- Innovative Mindset

- Ability to analyze data
