Job Description
This full-time nurse position will support school districts in ESC Region 12 districts enrolled in the Nursing Grant program providing services including but not limited to the items listed below.
- Perform nursing duties in the ESC Region 12 school-based nursing grant program
- Provide regional nursing services in assigned districts
- Provide professional development and technical support in the area of nursing to ESC Region 12 districts
Education/Certification
- Valid Texas Nursing License
- Three years of relevant experience in nursing services at the district/campus level preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of individual and group skills
- Knowledge of prevention and intervention strategies, including behavior management interventions
- Technology application skills
- Strong organization, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude, self-starter, team player
- Ability to initiate and complete projects
- Ability to implement QMS initiatives.
